Magdalena's Story
Hi. I've decided to write a whole new page. I got married at 20 and had 3 beautiful girls before turning 30!Life goes by fast when you're a stay home mom and have to run around all day.Then in 2005, God decided to take my husband; talk about feeling lost in this world! Now a few odd years later I'm working at my custom broker agency and well I'm just counting the days to when I pass it on to my son in laws, wherever they might be.I only have one son in law as yet, but he's truly the best and will be hard to beat. So here I am in Mexico City and life is like a box of chocolates..(you never know what you're gonna get?)
I've traveled a lot, but I still want to see many important cities I've never been to. This past year I've gone up to Montreal to see L.G. He's heaven sent. But what did the Canadian Government do? Require nice mexican persons like me to have to get a stupid visa!!! How rude! How nasty. So now I gotta go to the Embassy and ask if I can go visit Canada. Okay I'll do it, BUT maybe you should be asking for that same visa from other nationalities too! Well I know it ain't personal but gee what a hassle. Meanwhile I'll be going o a Mediterranean cruise with LG in September..I can't wait. What a trip ay? I'll tell you all about it when I get back.Greetings to you all..Hey does anybody know when this stupid world economic problem will resolved itself? Okay here I go again, it' 2010. Happy New Year!So Marymount's thinking about having a reunion, well won't that be great, to see who remembers who...just last year I went to a wedding in NDG saw an old friend, and she says she didn't remember me..Debbie Shea, geez I had to take out an old picure I have of her in my attic to prove that I was right. There we were, Larry Galletti, Lisa Turner, David Thomson, Theresa Galletti, Donna Paquette, Gerry Therrien, Deirdre Fitzsimmons,among others in the basement of a mutual friend we had in Westmout.Well I wanna guess that I never made a big impression on her..hahaha or should I call it dementia or beginning of the Big German disease. But I don't wanna be mean...so I'll take the blame. No bad feelings Debbie. Then I get people writing to me saying they knew me, when they graduated years before I even touched Marymount. So okay I'll go for the fun of it before I forget too, or start hallucinating of friends I never knew. Life is fun, I say lets just do it!!! Count me in, and hey if you dont remember me, who cares I'm not about to take it ...Expand for more
personally.And if I don't remember just keep talking to me about things we did together until I remember...believe me at some point it will hit my hard drive. oh yeah, I was granted the visa to go to Canada.
To be continued... To add a note here... I started my junior high in StPaul's Academy on Sherbrooke Street in Westmount n then they sold it to The montreal school commision so we were all sent to Marymount where i went for two years and then finished my senior year at Mc Donald Cartier in St Hubert. So yeah I moved around.

Fast forward 2015.... I turn 60 in April!!! OMG !!! 60... Suxty is old, very old to a 16 yr old. Where did all those years go? I just have to look at my kids...there they went! But inside its the same me...but can I still jump outta bed and do a sommersault? Ha no...did I ever? I don't usually tell my age but geez all you guys are up there with me...thank god we all age together! Hey I'm gonna have a big sixty bday party cuz i can still dance n I love it...put on Sly n the Family Stone , And lets boogie! Cheers to the 60 s!!! Its bettter to have reached it than not...I gotta keep that in mind.
Fast forward 2017, I'm still with LG ...I finally got to see the Canadian Rockies up in c Calgary, Banff , Whistler,Bouchart Gardens ( WOW) vancouver and Victoria!!! Scenery is undescribely beautiful!!!Mexico is getting worse, so much violence, they have zero scrupples, really it's tough living here. I know where its' safe, but in many places it's dangerous, The drug market.'s fault, so hey, say NO to drugs, please. Grand daughter number three is on her way and we haven't found a nice name.....I have a Tatiana, a Priscilla and a Melissa, My daughter had a Sienna and an Alexia....any suggestion for a beautiful but rare name for girl number 6?
June 2018!,, see how times flies.... they named my third grand daughter Tessa ( a short version of Theresa). I’m still working.... but... I wanna retire soon....the sooner the better...hah. Life is good. Going to two weddings this autumn, my niece in Minnesota, my nephew in Amsterdam...I’m going w LG and from there going to see London and it’s roundabouts n then Ireland to see if it’s truly green as they say. Life is good .
